AppleはiPhoneシリーズとiPadシリーズの仕様を更新し、iPhone 6／6 Plus、iPad Air 2のBluetoothを「Bluetooth 4.0」から「Bluetooth 4.2」にバージョンアップしました。
「Bluetooth 4.2」は、今年9月に発表されたiPhone 6sとiPhone 6s Plus、iPad Pro、iPad mini 4にも搭載されている最新バージョンです。
Bluetooth 4.2は前バージョンと比べて最大2.5倍の高速化、最大10倍のパケット容量増大となります。
