iOS14.4・iPadOS 14.4・macOS Big Sur 11.2などRC版がリリース　

Appleは日本時間1月22日、「iOS 14.4」「iPadOS 14.4」「tvOS 14.4」「macOS Big Sur 11.2」のRC（Release Candidate）版を開発者およびパブリックベータ登録者向けにリリースしました。

  • iPadOS 14.4 RC (18D52)
  • watchOS 7.3 RC (18S801)
  • tvOS 14.4 RC (18K802)
  • macOS Big Sur 11.2 RC (20D53)
  • Xcode 12.4 RC (12D4e)

iOS 14.4では、小さなQRコードをカメラで認識可能となったほか、オーディオ通知でBluetoothデバイスの種類を分類するオプション設定が追加されています。
また、iPhone 12、iPhone 12 mini、iPhone 12 Pro、iPhone 12 Pro MaxでiPhoneのカメラがApple純正の新品カメラであることが確認できない場合に通知されるようになっています。
そのほか、写真、フィットネス、キーボード、CarPlayなどについて複数のバグ修正も含まれています。

watchOS 7.3では、日本でも心電図アプリ・不規則な心拍の通知が利用可能になります。

Appleによると、Release Candidate（RC）はApp Store に提出する予定のアプリのテストに使用できます。
なお、Release Candidate（RC）という用語は、「GM seed」に替わって用いられ、このバージョンが最終版に近いことを示しています。

前回、iOS14.3では、RC版は12月9日（水）にリリースされ、正式版は6日後となる12月15日（火）に一般公開されました。
iOS14.2では、RC版は10月31日（土）にリリースされ、正式版は6日後となる11月6日（金）に一般公開されました。

リリースノートは現時点で英語版のみです。
以下、iOS/iPadOS 14.4のリリースノートです。

iOS 14.4 includes the following improvements for your ‌iPhone‌:

  • Smaller QR codes can be recognized by Camera
  • Option to classify Bluetooth device type in Settings for correct identification of headphones for audio notifications
  • Notifications for when the camera on your ‌iPhone‌ is unable to be verified as a new, genuine Apple camera in ‌iPhone 12‌, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max

This release also fixes the following issues:

  • Image artifacts could appear in HDR photos taken with ‌iPhone 12 Pro‌
  • Fitness widget may not display updated Activity data
  • Typing may be delayed and word suggestions may not appear in the keyboard
  • The keyboard may not come up in the correct language in Messages
  • Audio stories from the News app in CarPlay may not resume after being paused for spoken directions or Siri
  • Enabling Switch Control in Accessibility may prevent phone calls from being answered from the Lock Screen

iPadOS 14.4 includes the following improvements for your iPad:

  • Smaller QR codes can be recognized by Camera
  • Option to classify Bluetooth device type in Settings for correct identification of headphones for audio notifications

This release also fixes the following issues:

  • Typing may be delayed and word suggestions may not appear in the keyboard
  • The keyboard may not come up in the correct language in Messages
